I attended two Mindfulness Courses and one Coaching programme with Mary over the last couple of years. I was a single parent of three teenagers, working full time and life was extremely busy, my stress levels were quite high. When I signed up to Mindfulness and Meditation, I had no idea what to expect. It was a commitment for eight weeks, one evening per week and probably a night out for myself. From the moment I started the course, I knew I had encountered something new and exciting and looked forwarded to returning each week. Mary was so enthusiastic and full of positivity. Her energy and warm personality radiated throughout the course. I felt so relaxed in her presence and therefore participated well in her company. Meditations, daily affirmations and the importance of keeping a daily gratitude journal were a new and interesting way of life for me. I was struggling with being a lone parent, a very busy job, financial issues, dealing with stress on my own, trying to keep my children in good health and being mindful of their mental health also. Mary introduced me to the necessary tools to assist with keeping my mental health strong and introduced me to new and effective coping skills. I realised the importance of self care, self love and how to overcome fear and limiting beliefs in my daily life. At a later stage, I felt the need to explore my life further and I enrolled on a one to one Coaching Programme with Mary. The benefits of a one to one Coaching Programme enables the participant to have private sessions with your coach and explore areas of your life that are personal to you at a much deeper level. I would highly recommend Mary to anyone who is interested in self discovery and improving their quality of life both physically and mentally. I attended 2 Mindfulness Courses and an Empowerment Course facilitated by Mary. Her teachings have liberated my thinking and have given me the tools to enjoy peace of mind and a clear focus to be in the present. Using the skills and techniques I learned during these courses prevents frustration and uncertainty in my life. The practice of daily Gratitude is empowering as it enables me to focus on all that I have in my life. Mary has managed to simplify the two emotions of Love and Fear which is the basis for all our thoughts. I understand which route we take in life is our decision. I took part in "The Power of You "course which was a free online 6 week program that was delivered by Mary which included tips, tools and meditations to guide you and improve your daily life. I enjoyed the course that much, I arranged private 1:1 coaching with Mary, whereby we met up weekly and addressed the areas that I was struggling with in my life. All sessions were carried out in a real professional manner and Mary offered continued support and guidance throughout our sessions which helped me focus greatly.
I was struggling with anxiety, body image (body Dysmorphia) and was quite disorganized in my life, This 1:1 coaching gave me valuable tools, techniques and structure to successfully manage my issues. Thankfully, I now feel more in control and know what to do if it occurs again. Mary has a lovely, calming energy about her which enabled me to feel relaxed and comfortable in expressing my issues. Mary works as a Health & Wellness Educator in our Community and has facilitated many courses and workshops over the last three years in the Boyne Community School, Trim where I work as a Home School Liaison Officer. She has run Natural Living Workshops, Live Your Best Life Courses and Mindfulness Courses for the students, parents and our Adult Education Programme. Mary facilitated Natural Living Workshops for our Parents Group who benefited greatly from the hands on experience of making up natural items. Mary has a wealth of knowledge to share in the field of Health and Wellness and has a natural ability to impart this in a way that is easily understood for the participants. She has a genuine passion for her work which is clearly visible when you attend her workshops and courses. Mary has been supporting our services here in Meath Community Drug & Alcohol Response (MCDAR) in Trim since late 2015 and has facilitated several courses in both Mindfulness and Empowerment for us each year.
